5 Simple Steps to Declutter Your Home

Declutter Your Home & Relax!

Declutter Your Home Now!

It’s the weekend and it’s time to get cleaning and organizing! If you are OCD like me, you will definitely appreciate this post as we will be sharing with you 5 simple, fun and easy ways to declutter your home today, all you need is some time and a little bit of effort:

Declutter Your Home in 5 Simple Steps:

1. Clean Out the Medicine Cabinet

We often forget to clean out our medicine cabinets and we only end up remembering them when we need a certain medicine and we find out that it is expired! Make it a habit to regularly clean out your medicine cabinet, once every month or two, throw out old and expired meds and sort the remaining ones.

2. Say Goodbye to Tangled Headphones

Any time I need to use my headphones, I either don’t find them or I find them all tangled up. An easy trick to solve that problem is storing your headphones in mint boxes for easy reach and no tangles!

3. Organize Your Paper Plates

An easy and simple way to organize your paper plates and napkins in the kitchen is by storing them in magazine stands for easy access for you and the kids.

4. Create Simple Storage Units

A good way to store gloves, keys, scarves and other things you might want to grab on your way out is placing them in wire baskets next to the door. All you need is the wire baskets and adhesive hooks. You can choose to hang them vertically or in any other style you prefer.

5. Use Tape for Parking Spots

Kids usually have a few big toy cars that are usually spread around the house! A great way to deal with this is by using tape to create “parking spaces” for kids’ cars and scooters. Not only is it a good way to declutter, kids can have fun trying to park in the designated places too!
