We created this section to honor women for who they are and what they do. To feature amazing women from all around the globe who deserve recognition and gratitude for the role they play and happiness they bring in their own special way.
For my previous post, I was lucky enough to meet Israa Thiab and introduce her to you!
As for my fourth inspiration for this section, meet Dalia Naber. Please join me as we learn more about Dalia, her passions, her personality, her goals, struggles and dreams. And together, let’s get inspired by her story!
Who is Dalia Naber?
I think of myself as an ambitious Jordanian girl who loves life deeply. I am also very passionate about everything I choose to do and always try to invest all my energy in every path I choose to pursue.
What do you do in life?
What hardships have you faced and overcome throughout the years? And how?
I studied something I did not enjoy and received my bachelors degree in Information Systems. My struggle was not loving or enjoying my job in that field for 6 years. Then it took me another 6 years to achieve a good career in photography.
As a woman, what are the hardships you face living in the Middle East?
The main hardship facing me as a woman in the Middle East is being judged based on what I do or what I am capable of. But I am very thankful and blessed that my family and friends have always showed me the support I need in everything I do.
What are you most passionate about?
I love traveling and having new adventures. However, I am mostly passionate about photography and everything related to it.
What do you dream of accomplishing and how are you working towards it?
I dream of visiting more places around the world and getting to learn about many new cultures. I also aspire to develop my photography skills and get a job that combines the two most things I am passionate about: traveling and photography.
I’m currently trying to achieve that by expanding my network and my client base and taking related courses and workshops.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I am blessed to be one of the few people who was able to turn their hobby into a career. Moreover, being a part of the restaurant business has made me very interested in exploring pubs and restaurants around the globe. I also like working out and I cook every now and then. However, the most thing I love is meeting new people.
Who inspires you the most in life?
I consider my personality way different than my mother’s. However, when I read this question I couldn’t but think of how inspiring, strong, unique, smart and exceptional she is.
Thank you so much Dalia Naber for willing to be one of the inspiring women we feature here. Wishing you the best of luck whatever you do and wherever you go!
