Launching a website or a blog is not a difficult task anymore; almost anyone could do it with the right building tools & platforms. However, the real trick is making your blog stand out from the crowd. That is where all the real hard works comes in.

If you are an aspiring blogger or a business seeking to provide value via your blog, here are some tips you get noticed quickly and easily.

  • Avoid popular & free templates

Free popular WordPress templates are very tempting, especially if you have are a first time blogger or have no budget. The trouble with such templates is that many of the are overused and it is really hard to find a unique one.

Since first impressions count, you want people who visit your site for the first time to find it worth their time. However, if your site looks spammy or just like 10 others they have recently visited, they might leave right away and never come back!

So what can you do? If you are going to find a free template, make sure you take your time researching. Do not go for the first decent one you find. Moreover, you can always try to customize your template and add your touch to it. You can even build one from scratch with some technical know-how and good taste.

  • Create & post great content

Even if you have a great template with awesome designs and colors, if your content is below par, your blog will have little to know chances of survival. Create great content that makes people want to stay, share and even revisit.

The more your content is viral in nature, the more your visitors will share it. This means more traffic to your site as well as higher brand recognition, loyalty and even sales.
